HOW I WORK
Therapy tailored to you, grounded in evidence.
There's no one-size-fits-all therapy here, but there is a shape to the work. First, we understand what brought you here — your story, not just your symptoms. Then we work to interrupt the patterns keeping you stuck, at the level where they actually live: your thoughts, your body, your relationships. And we integrate what's new — practicing it until it holds. The arc stays the same every time. The tools are chosen for you.
AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH
Therapy methods for the space between insight & change.
I draw from several evidence-based approaches, tailoring the work to each client rather than relying on a single method. Each one plays a distinct role in moving from insight to meaningful change.
SPACE: helping your child by changing how you respond.
PARENT-BASED TREATMENT
One of the most powerful things I offer anxious families is a program that doesn't require the child to be the patient.
SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is an evidence-based treatment developed at the Yale Child Study Center. It works entirely through parents: instead of asking your child to change, we change how you respond to their anxiety — reducing the accommodations that quietly keep fear in charge, while increasing the kind of support that builds genuine confidence. It's the same arc applied to your role as a parent: understanding the anxiety cycle, interrupting your part in it, and integrating a new way of responding until it's second nature. The research is clear that it works, even when the child never sets foot in a therapist's office.
If you're parenting a child with anxiety, ADHD, or learning differences, you know the exhausting math of it — managing their nervous system while your own runs on empty. SPACE gives you a structured, compassionate way to help them that doesn't depend on their willingness to go to therapy. And because this work often surfaces your own patterns — the cycles you swore you wouldn't repeat — it pairs naturally with the individual and attachment work above.
Specialized care for mothers and reproductive mental health.
PERINATAL SPECIALIZATION
The methods above are how I work. This is who I work with most closely: I hold advanced training in perinatal mental health — the emotional and psychological experience of fertility, pregnancy, birth, pregnancy loss, postpartum change, and early motherhood.
This isn't general therapy lightly adapted for motherhood. It's care shaped by an understanding of what this season can bring: birth trauma, postpartum anxiety or depression, intrusive thoughts, identity shifts, relationship changes, and the grief or ambivalence people don't always feel allowed to name.
If you're in this season, we'll meet it with the care, nuance, and steadiness it deserves.
Three steps along the mindful path.
GETTING STARTED
-
A complimentary 15-minute call. A low-stakes conversation to hear what's going on and see whether the fit feels right. No preparation needed.
-
The intake session. 75 minutes to go deeper and begin mapping the patterns shaping your life. (This is where Understand begins.)
-
Ongoing work. Session by session, we interrupt the old pattern and build what replaces it. (Interrupt and Integrate, in practice.)
The first step isn't a commitment. It's a conversation.
