Welcome to the Mindful Path
You’re here because something isn’t working.
Whether you’re a college student trying to find your voice, a couple struggling to reconnect, or a mother in the thick of postpartum or parenting, it’s so easy to feel like you're the only one going through it.
But you’re not.
Loneliness is often the silent thread beneath our struggles. It shows up as shame, anxiety, perfectionism, emotional disconnection, and self-doubt. What we long for isn’t more advice or quick fixes. What we long for is being deeply understood—in a space where we can finally exhale.
The Heart of Healing Is Human Connection
At the core of every symptom is a story. A history. A longing to be safe with ourselves and with others. Healing happens in relationship—with a therapist who sees the whole of you, holds compassionate space, and helps you rewrite the old scripts that keep playing out in your life.
Therapy with me isn’t just about managing symptoms. It’s about meaningful, relational healing—so you can feel more whole, connected, and free.
The Private Practice My Family Needed Didn’t Exist, So I Created It
As a psychologist and a mother, I know how deeply our family stories shape our emotional world. I also understand how hard it is to find the right kind of support, especially when you're holding it all together on the outside while falling apart on the inside.
This practice was born out of that knowing.
About Me
Hi, I’m Dr. Rachel Rengifo, a licensed clinical psychologist deeply committed to helping people move through emotional pain and toward lasting change. For over 20 years, I’ve specialized in guiding individuals who feel stuck—whether in old habits, painful patterns, or cycles of avoidance—toward reclaiming their power and learning to face life with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
I work with people who are ready to stop running from the hard things, even if they’re not yet sure how. My approach is deeply relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes when we feel safe enough to face what’s been too overwhelming to carry alone. Together, we gently uncover what’s been holding you back and build new patterns that support healing, meaning, and growth.
A cornerstone of my work is EMDR therapy, which I integrate with both attachment-based and somatic perspectives. This means we don’t just talk about what happened—we listen to what your body has held, attend to how early relationships shaped your patterns, and work together to reprocess old wounds in a way that brings real relief and lasting change.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a range of settings—from community mental health to hospitals, academia, group practices, and beyond—and I’ve trained extensively in EMDR, trauma treatment, and depth-oriented approaches that support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and whole-person healing. But I kept coming back to the same feeling: the kind of private practice I wanted to work in—and the one I believed clients truly deserved—simply didn’t exist. So I created it.
This practice is built on intention, integrity, and an unwavering belief in people’s capacity to grow. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relational pain, or the quiet ache of “something’s not right,” you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
If you’re ready to do the deep work, I’m here to walk alongside you.
